Not Your Typical Jock: Myron Rolle: Safety, Rhodes Scholarship Candidate

Myron Rolle:
  • FSU starting safety
  • 3.75 pre-med student who will finish his undergraduate degree in just two-and-a-half years
  • Recipient of a $4,000 research grant for his work studying human mesenchymal stem cells
  • Entered FSU with 22 advanced placement credits
  • Expected FSU nominee for the Rhodes Scholarship - 32 awards nationwide per year
Nope, not your typical "dumb jock".

"Whether you go to Princeton University or Florida State University, it's how hard you work," said Rolle. "The same material is being taught at both schools, and if you push yourself to take honors courses, you really challenge yourself intellectually."
