Blogging from: Salt Lake City, UT
Phew, long day but made it to Salt Lake City in one piece. Left my house at 7:30am, arrived at midnight local time (lost an hour now that we're in Mountain Standard Time). This is the longest leg of our trip, so the drive should less grueling after this.
This is our caravan: Volkswagen GTi and Volvo S40
This is Yen. She's the mom of the group. She eats watermelon with a fork while driving. Yep, she's driving my car. I'm so glad someone other than me can drive stick!
We had our first finger-window accident before we even made it out of California. Sorry Yen!

Then C for Carlin on the other side of Nevada:
They can't afford the entire name of the town, apparently.
Nevada also likes Jesus:
Next up is Grand Tetons National Park. Utah is so lame there's no clock in the motel room.
Miles into trip before first finger-window accident: 94
Miles covered today: 768
Road trip mileage count: 768
States visited: Nevada, Utah
Miles to Columbus, Ohio: 2,162
