Not too interesting today. We spent most of the day in the car and crossed Minnesota and Wisconsin and into Illinois.

Very excited about no driving tomorrow for the first time all week -- we're taking a break from driving and touring Chicago.
The "L" train runs right by my motel room in downtown Chicago. Do'h!

Did any of those automated toll booths steal your change? I can't tell you how awkward it felt to scramble for more coins when the little dividing arm didn't go up after throwing money at it. . .the worst part was not knowing how much more to throw in (since there's no rolling tally); just throw money at it until it opens up and the peepz behind you stop honking!
